RUGER MAINSPRING TOOL
Photo 1 Photo 2 Their are two versions of the Ruger Mainspring Tool offered. The Mainspring Tool was originally designed for the Ruger MK I and will also work with the MK II pistol. (Photo 1) A later version was designed to work with the Ruger 22/45 pistol. (Photo 2) Either tool will make the job of changing the mainspring a simple task. When doing a trigger job on the Ruger 22 auto pistol I recommend replacing the Ruger mainspring with a Wolff Precision Spring Co. reduced power mainspring. Instructions are supplied with the tool.
