This tool was designed with the professional pistolsmith, gunsmith or serious shooter in mind and will save a lot of time and trouble when drilling the 1911 magazine base. Their are 3 hardened drill bushings that allow the magazine base to be drilled for the Pachmayr hole spacing or the Shaw, CP, King, and BAT Base Pads. Magazines are held in place with a clamp and can be drilled on a drill press, milling machine or with a hand drill. Complete instructions are included with the tool.
